Starting the day with a first look

Molly and Sam decided not to have getting ready photography, instead beginning their photography coverage with their first look in the Half Acre courtyard.

I love when couples choose to structure their day around what matters most to them. Rather than spending time photographing the preparations, we were able to focus on Molly and Sam together, their bridal party, their ceremony and, most importantly, their reception and dance floor.

Colourful florals and beautiful ceremony styling

The flowers were one of the standout details of Molly and Sam’s wedding.

The floral styling featured a beautiful combination of dusty pink, orange and rich red tones, adding warmth and colour throughout the venue.

For the ceremony, the flowers were positioned inside the space with Half Acre’s beautiful glass windows creating the backdrop. The styling felt elegant and modern while still having plenty of personality.

A bridal party full of energy

Molly and Sam had an incredible bridal party.

There was so much laughter, personality and energy throughout the photos, and it was very clear that everyone was there to have a great time.

Rather than keeping the bridal party photographs overly formal, we focused on capturing genuine interactions and letting everyone have fun. There was lots of movement, plenty of dancing and some very happy people in front of the camera.
