Laura began her wedding morning getting ready inside the charming cottage at Butterfly Red Hill, alongside her daughter. The space is filled with soft natural light, neutral tones, and beautiful textures, making it the perfect location for getting-ready photos. 

Laura and KJ were married in the gardens at Butterfly Red Hill, surrounded by the most incredible florals. The arrangements were colourful yet soft, with pastel tones that complemented the natural greenery beautifully. The ceremony felt joyful, relaxed, and deeply personal.

From a photography perspective, the garden ceremony space offers gorgeous depth, natural backdrops, and flattering light throughout the day.

After the ceremony, we explored the gardens for portraits, taking advantage of Butterfly Red Hill’s many hidden pockets and pathways. As the sun began to set, the light turned golden, giving us one of those perfect Mornington Peninsula sunsets that photographers dream of. These sunset portraits were relaxed, romantic, and full of genuine emotion.

The evening continued with canapés enjoyed outside as guests soaked in the atmosphere of the gardens. As the night went on, there was dancing, laughter, and that unmistakable feeling of a wedding that truly reflects the couple. Butterfly Red Hill transitions beautifully from day to night, creating a seamless and unforgettable celebration.
