Catherine and Jonathon met on orientation day at university in 2013.

Striking up a conversation as they waited in line, it wasn’t long until they developed a friendship and over the next year, they became closer and eventually started dating.

After dating for three years, Jonathon flew over to Melbourne from New Zealand (where he lives) to surprise his beautiful Catherine. The Alfred Nicholas Gardens, a bunch of roses, a picnic, some little helpers in tow (his nieces), and a ring were what he had planned.. and Catherine of course said yes!!

As soon as Catherine said yes this couple started planning their dream wedding at Poet's Lane Receptions. Their Day was truly perfection: from the beautiful weather, people coming from all over the world to celebrate their union and gorgeous details... nothing was amiss!

Poet's Lane and Lyrebird Falls is one of the finest wedding and reception venues in the magnificent Dandenong Ranges and with its picturesque bridge and elegant water features it was the perfect venue for this couple, who was after a romantic look.
