Shoreham Mornington Peninsula Wedding

Luke and Sam’s wedding was the perfect representation of this couple: laid back, fun and just beautiful!!!

This couple decided to have their ceremony in a pine forest overlooking the ocean in Shoreham, followed by a reception at Luke’s parents' house. A house that held thousands of memories for Luke growing up with his siblings Rikki and Josh.. a place that was not only meaningful but that also offered an amazing garden.

Pop Up with Style turned the house into an amazing enchanted garden/Spanish fiesta with flowers, fairy lights and little corners where people could mingle eat paella and pizza (because that is what we really want to eat at every wedding!! Let’s be honest!!) and cocktails being served. The guests danced the night away and nobody even noticed the rain! PERFECTION!

This wedding was a perfect example of how a wedding doesn't need to be an elaborate affair. The most important thing is people gathering together, having some drinks, good food, lots of laughter and dancing. It doesn't need to be in an expensive venue either. This backyard wedding was truly beautiful and so simple.

Luke and Sam wanted their portrait session to be as quick as possible, as time with their guests was the most important thing to them. They also wanted their images to be natural and not too posey as they both hate having their photos taken. So we just had some fun around the forest and on the beach in Shoreham. Looking at their smiles I think I succeeded in making this part of their wedding fun.
